WELCOMING NEW PATIENTS!
Tracey Hall is a nurse practitioner with the breast care program. She has been in breast care since 2004. She is a board certified in women’s health and adult health. She is also an oncology certified nurse. She received an undergraduate degree in Biology from Assumption College. She went on to receive her RN and Master’s Degree in Nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. She has previously practiced at the breast programs at UMass Memorial and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Tracey’s breast care practice incorporates caring for patients with both benign and malignant breast conditions. She works collaboratively with Dr. Diane Lockhart, the director of the breast care program, at St. Vincent Hospital. She supports the care of patients newly diagnosed with breast cancer and continues to provide support years into survivorship. She plays a special role in patient education throughout the treatment process.
Tracey also provides counseling and monitoring for women with a strong family history of breast cancer and does perform certain genetic testing in the office. Tracey has previously worked as a high risk breast clinic coordinator and offers a lot of high risk breast services here at St. Vincent’s.
“I am amazed every day with my role as a nurse. There is nothing else I would ever consider doing. I see so many strong, busy, multi-tasking women often at the hardest time of their lives. They need someone to support them and care for them. When I truly connect with a woman and get to be that person for them there is no greater honor. With breast cancer many women do so well. It’s incredible to be part of the journey with them as you get them through treatment and start getting them back to their lives”.
