Dr. Tatyana Sayko is a Family Medicine physician at the Auburn location of Saint Vincent Medical Group. Focusing on preventive medicine, she counsels her patients to make healthy choices that will reduce their risk of developing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and asthma/Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
The guidance that Dr. Sayko provides her patients enhances the care they receive in the office, arming them with personalized information to make optimal health and lifestyle decisions. “I talk to my patients about the steps they can take to reduce the risk of making unhealthy choices. Whether it’s a piece of literature or a recommendation, I provide them with resources to stay or start on the path to becoming healthy.”
Dr. Sayko incorporates new medical advancements and information into her treatment plans, sharing recent studies and participating in leading conferences to stay on the pulse of what’s new in medicine. “Medicine will continue to have interesting advances and new information relevant to my patients. Along with preventive medicine, new medical information can be extremely helpful in developing a treatment plan.”
She joined Saint Vincent Medical Group from Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, Massachusetts, where she had a Family Medicine practice and was a staff physician. Dr. Sayko completed her residency at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in Niagara Falls, New York. She received her medical degree from Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Institute in Ukraine. Dr. Sayko is board-certified in Family Medicine and speaks Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.
