Joshua Greenberg, M.D.
"My goal and commitment is to establish a patient relationship that is founded on trust—a relationship that assures the patient that he or she is regarded as an individual and not a number.
Dr. Joshua Greenberg is a Cardiologist at the Shore Drive location of Saint Vincent Medical Group. Inspired by his childhood primary-care physician to become a doctor, Dr. Greenberg takes a whole-body approach to treatment, focusing on the cardiac component without excluding patients’ overall health and health history.
Dr. Greenberg incorporates his training in mind-body medicine with his years of experience in the subspecialties of non-invasive and nuclear cardiology in his approach to patient care. “I’m interested in practicing preventive cardiology. Instead of simply treating episodes of illness, I work to preserve wellness by addressing all the factors that can contribute to cardiac and overall health.”
While advances in cardiac medicine have enabled Dr. Greenberg to provide cutting-edge and innovative treatment, Dr. Greenberg is a firm believer in preventive care as the best avenue for wellness. “Many of the things that lead to health and wellness are not pharmacologically based. A healthy lifestyle is truly one of the best ways to prevent illness and avoid relying on purely medical solutions.”
Prior to joining Saint Vincent Medical Group, Dr. Greenberg was a Clinical Cardiologist at UMass Memorial Medical Group in Worcester, Massachusetts. He completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts and a fellowship in Nuclear Cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston Massachusetts. Dr. Greenberg completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Memorial Hospital (now part of UMass Memorial Medical Center) in Worcester. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, he earned his medical degree at Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
