Dr. Bruce Bornstein, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.R. is a board certified Radiation Oncologist at Saint Vincent Medical Group. He obtained a degree in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Bornstein furthered his education with an internship at Harvard Medical School, a residency at Harvard Medical School, Joint Center for Radiation Therapy and an M.B.A. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He brings extensive research experience to his partnership with patients and their families. As a member of numerous professional associations such as the American Society of Radiation Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Radiology, Dr. Bornstein has been a tremendous resource teaching others during his past and present roles. He has served as the Deputy Division Chief and Director of the Hyperthermia Program at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Division Joint Center for Radiation Therapy. He was also awarded a prestigious fellowship in the American College of Radiology. Dr. Bornstein's far reaching contributions also include numerous publications and he continues to serve as Associate Professor at UMass Medical School among other distinguished positions. Dr. Bornstein brings compassion and care to his patients and their families during treatment. “I have been honored to care for people with cancer over the past 30 years. My goal is to help them understand their disease process and all of the available treatment options. Together, we are then able to select the treatment that best meets the patient’s needs and desires, with careful attention to quality of life and minimizing side effects.”
