Iqra Javeed, M.D.
Dr. Javeed provides a wide range of services including diagnosis, management, and treatment of Diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal disorders, and osteoporosis. Her philosophy of care revolves round the patient being a partner. She explains that “making sure that my patients understand their diseases and treatment plan is an integral part of my practice. Having them be a part of the decision making process ensures better compliance and understanding”. Dr. Javeed is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. In her free time she enjoys cooking and traveling.
Dr. Javeed attended Medical School at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her endocrinology fellowship was at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Her internal medicine residency was at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of various professional societies including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, American Diabetes Association, American Thyroid Association, Friedman Fellows Foundation, and The Endocrine Society. In addition, she has published multiple peer reviewed journal articles and abstracts.
